Corporate speaking topics

Every investment needs to show a return.  High octane keynotes can provide short term motivation but delivery of relatable, practical tools that create sustainable change can extend that investment in your ultimate competitive differentiator – your staff.

In a stressful world where anxiety and poor mental health statistics are rocketing, there are two key requirements for companies if they want the best out of their employees:
– to prevent the deterioration of mental health.

– to change the leadership style to accommodate the anxious teenagers who will be entering their employ.

01 Train anxiety like a dog – and have a friend for life

The jewel in this talk is the relatability.

Few like to admit their fears. But we all have them. And for many, anxiety inhibits productivity, creativity and ultimately happiness.

Using the concept of training a dog, Caroline uses a simple, understandable framework that gives people the skills and motivation to change their relationship with anxiety from an annoying, out of control terrier into
a well trained police dog that supports confidence.

Education speaking topics

Students not only face the traditional exam pressures but every move they make has the potential to be shared world wide on a social media platform.

Escalating teenage mental health figures show how the mental health of the future generation is at an all time low.

This also ripples out to the educators, requiring them to have skills to manage their student’s anxieties whilst also supporting themselves.

These talks support both teenagers and educators to start reversing the trend by teaching that skills that, as yet, are not on the national curriculum and will enhance the success of students both in and out of school.

01 How to optimise learning for anxious learners
How to optimise learning for anxious learners

Anxiety quietly undermines student performance — diminishing attention, confidence and cognitive capacity.

For many students, the stress response is triggered way before a session even begins.

This practical, engaging session is for teachers, trainers and school staff, developing skills to heighten their ability to support anxious and neurodivergent students, facilitating greater student focus, information retention and ultimately a greater return on their training delivery.

  • Caroline attended one of our events and delivered an incredibly thought-provoking talk. I do not wish to spoil it, but I took a massive nugget away from the talk, Anxiety v’s Excitement! Not to mention cartwheels and a really engaging talk. Thank you, Caroline, for delivering an amazing keynote. I know that everyone in the room left wiser, more informed and in greater spirits than when they arrived.
Carl Jones, Speaker Booker for PSA

  • When I launched the theme for our 2025 Convention, I asked our community what was holding them back in growing their businesses. Many of the responses highlighted overwhelm and anxiety. I understand how anxiety can stop talented people from taking action in the area of their goals and dreams. That is why I invited Caroline Cavanagh to speak at our Convention. As an anxiety specialist, she brought a powerful and refreshing perspective. Caroline explained that anxiety, once tamed and given leadership, can actually help us to gear up. The delegates connected well with her friendly and practical approach. Her talk offered us the tools to shift from pressure to performance in a way that was easy to understand and apply.
Kim Vermaak, Event Manager, South Africa

  • I had the pleasure of hearing Caroline speak at the PSA Southern Africa Convention this April. She has a way of making complex ideas around anxiety feel not only manageable but relatable, especially when she compares anxiety to a dog (complete with photos of her own, which definitely won us all over).
Her message about the comfort zone really stuck with me, how we don’t have to leap out of it, but rather stretch it with small, steady steps. The visual of her small steps next to a tall gentleman’s long strides made it all the more memorable. Caroline’s presentation was engaging, down-to-earth, sprinkled with humour and full of practical takeaways. A great reminder that anxiety isn’t the enemy, it’s something we can learn to work with.
    Nick Smit, Audience member

  • When the talk was over, I had committed to an action and built in accountability. When I got home, I took action and implemented the decision.
What more can you ask from a speaker? Caroline gave us all a gift when she delivered her keynote, which offered a fresh perspective and mindset shift around anxiety. The gift of action. Her energy and delivery style meant I unwrapped the gift. If you want your audience to take action, book Caroline!
    Patrick Mercie, Audience Member

  • As the President of the Cape Chapter of the Professional Speakers Association of South Africa (PSASA) I had the privilege of hosting Caroline’s talk on anxiety management, and I must say it was nothing short of exceptional. Caroline’s depth of knowledge and expertise in the field of anxiety management is truly remarkable. Her presentation was not only informative but also incredibly inspirational. She has a unique ability to connect with her audience, making a complex subject like anxiety relatable and understandable for everyone. Caroline’s passion for helping individuals manage their anxiety shines through in her words and actions. I was particularly impressed by her practical insights and strategies for coping with anxiety in both personal and professional settings. Her talk left a lasting impact on me and many others in the audience. It’s clear that Caroline is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of those dealing with anxiety. I highly recommend Caroline as an anxiety specialist and speaker. Her expertise, empathy, and ability to deliver meaningful content make her a valuable resource for anyone seeking guidance on anxiety management. Thank you, Caroline, for your incredible contribution to our event!.
Claudio Chiste, Speaker Booker and Event Host

  • Caroline recently ran a webinar for us on Anxiety during Mental Health Awareness week. I had seen Caroline speak before and was attracted by her positive positioning on anxiety and felt that this would work well within our organisation. Caroline is extremely professional, arranging a briefing before the event to fully understand our needs, the profile of our staff etc to ensure she could adapt her content appropriately. The webinar was well received and feedback from the staff was very positive and more importantly, people were actively using the skills and techniques following the session highlighting that the material had resonated with the participants. Caroline is an expert in her subject and delivers the content in a way that motivates people to address what is often seen as a negative subject, in a positive light that they can use proactively. I would recommend her to any organisations who recognise that stress and anxiety can affect staff in many ways and wish to provide them with the tools that will help support mental strength and resilience.
    Gemma Thomas, Fawcetts Accountants

  • I recently saw Caroline deliver a great talk geared to help people both acknowledge and then manage anxiety. In today’s economic climate, mental health and wellbeing is more important than ever and the way Caroline blends storytelling and practical tips for self care and support is much needed. She breaks down what can be a complex topic into manageable steps and I would highly recommend her as a speaker to any organisation currently prioritising mental health and wellbeing in their organisation.
    Jackie Handy, Audience Member

  • Caroline presents herself as a highly professional speaker. She supported our event with the creation of a promotional video of her talk and interacted with social media in advance. On the day she engaged with the audience delivering a highly interactive talk on Imposter Syndrome on a warm afternoon in a crowded room – after lunch! Her training in the art of speaking is evident and she is also a subject specialist in her field. The combination leads me to confidently recommend her to any organisation seeking to enhance their bottom line through supporting their staff or members in achieving greater mental resilience.

Whilst you’re here...

Commonly asked questions from event managers and speaker bookers

Here are answers to some of the more commonly asked questions

What do you charge?

Well that’s always a tricky one! Id rather have a conversation about what I can do within your budget, and what value my work could bring that would show a return on the investment. What I guarantee is that it will not be just a keynote or one off workshop. I will seek to add value from the start of the conversation with the intention of the conversation turning into a long term mutually beneficial relationship.

Do you work through agencies?

Yes. And this is because the partnership with an agency allows me to provide you the service I wish to. It provides you with a point of contact who can be more responsive than I can when travelling. They also provide YOU with the added security of a professional organisation. Working with an agency does not abdicate my responsibility, it enhances it.

How far ahead do I need to book you?

If you have a specific date, it is always worth getting a place holder put in my diary. If you can be flexible, there is every chance we can find a date that works for us both.
